Our story
Fair Prices, Straight Answers
At Martin Auto Repair, we believe a diagnosis shouldn't cost you before we've even opened the hood. Customers tell us they came to us after being charged elsewhere just to look at their car, and we start with a free diagnostic every time.
We work fast and we work fair. Same-day turnaround is the norm, not the exception, and when we quote a job, we quote it honestly, sometimes beating another shop's price by hundreds of dollars.
We're proud to be Downey's go-to shop for drivers who want a mechanic who tells it straight. From routine maintenance to cooling system repairs, we treat every car like it's going to come back to us again, because most of ours do.
- Free diagnostic, every visit
- Same-day turnaround
- Fair, upfront pricing
- Trusted by repeat customers
What customers say
“It was an amazing experience. I went to two places nearby prior and each person was trying to charge just to open my hood and look, but Martin opened it and gave me his diagnostic at no charge. He took care of it the same day and his prices were very fair and honest. I recommend anyone reading this to give him a shot. I'll be bringing all my cars here.”
“The best shop in town. Best prices. The owner is good people, he doesn't b.s. people, it's like he knows he has the best prices. He saved me $175. I got a quote at another place, and Martin beat it by $175. I'm bringing all my cars here forever.”
“Great mechanic shop. Sometimes they're open on Sunday. Good prices, very honest person. Recommended shop.”
